By Max and Pat
Hello our names are Pat and Max and we are Grade 5 students in Mrs.Boorman’s Grade 5 class. These are the tribes agreements. They are respect, listening, participate and appreciate:
There is many things you should respect like yourself, others and things. You respect things by not breaking them. You can respect others by helping them when they need help and sharing with them. Respect yourself by being proud and don’t blame yourself for things.
Listening is important because if you don’t listen you can’t participate, appreciate or respect if you don’t listen. Remember eyes on the speaker… shhh, shhh don’t talk.
Participation is sometimes taking a risk but still putting your hand up or guessing the answer even if you don’t know the question. But you do have the right to pass.
Appreciation is to have appreciation for others and yourself. If you show appreciation for others then they will give you appreciation back. You can show appreciation for others by appreciating what people like.
What tribes agreements mean to me.
The Tribes Agreements are respect, listen, appreciate and participate. Respect means that you show respect about peoples feelings and that you care about how they feel. Listening means “Eyes on the speaker shsh don’t talk”. It also means not to have your separate conversations while someone else is speaking and also to pay attention when someone is talking. Appreciate means that you appreciate what someone does and that you should appreciate that because they are doing it for you. Participate means to let other people participate and respect their choices.
