These Tribes based assemblies are held once a month on a Friday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the gym. Teachers will contact the parents of students who will be receiving Tribes certificates, however, the assemblies are open to all parents of all children. Help us celebrate our students achievements!
Elementary School Milk Program
Give children a serving of milk, the easy way! Elementary school aged children need between 2 to 4 servings of Milk and Alternatives every day. But as any busy parent knows, it’s hard enough getting them to school in the morning. We don’t always think to include a serving of milk or a milk product in their lunch bags.
Why milk? Milk is packed with 16 essential nutrients, including calcium for healthy teeth and niacin for growth and development. It also contains protein and carbohydrates that provide energy to help keep children moving!
Why milk in school? Children who are enrolled in the Elementary School Milk Program (ESMP) get a carton of milk during the school day. It’s an easy way to make sure they get another serving of what they need to stay healthy, alert and ready to learn. Glen Williams Public School is registered with the ESMP. Learn more with our Parent Brochure.
To contribute to your child's daily nourishment, enroll them in the ESMP today!
